Just a post on some beauty bits I received this Christmas that I am super duper excited to try out and review in later months. I am so so grateful for everything I've received this Christmas and I was truly blessed for not only everything under my tree but the people who surrounded it this year. Naked Flushed Palette- Streak Now. Stop what you are doing and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this small palette of beauty. This little stunner has been on my wishlist for the longest time and my amazing boyfriend finally ticked off the box and bought it for me. The consistency of the powders are so soft yet so highly pigmented and this shade of palette suits my skin tone perfectly. That highlight tho. beyond beautiful. Soap and Glory- all the right smoothes body butters. Soap and Glory body butters are life so when I unwrapped this trio from under my tree from my cousins, aunt and uncle I was so so pleased. I have the full size of 'The Righteous Butter' and it smells divine but I was really excited to try 2 other scents which I've never smelt. The 'Sugar Crush' has been hyped up loads by bloggers and Youtubers so i was pumped to give it a smell and it didn't disappoint with its zestyness. These are in cute mini form so great for holidays or travelling and lets be honest. We all love some mini's. So so cute. Benefit- Best of Benefit Gift Set I'm a real fan of Benefit make-up but don't own a lot of it as lets be honest here... Its rather on the pricey side of my budget but every once in a while I like to treat myself as you may have seen with my 'Gimme Brow' blog post. This was a very unexpected present from my Nana as she was generous enough this Christmas so ofc I was a little over excited when I opened this as 1. Its Benefit. 2. They are mini's. 3. I've wanted to try these products for yonks but never wanted to splurge when I wasn't sure if I would like them. So far I've tested the Hoola Bronzer and its such a beautiful bronzing tone, the concellers which are amazing, the Benetint which is such a good colour for my lips when I don't want to wear lipstick and the Mascara which I still don't know what I think of it. I already have the large 'porefessional' and I love love love it. Hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it wasn't too long!

'What's in my bag?' blog posts are a personal favourite of mine as you get the chance to have a nosey in someone else's handbag and you cant say thats not interesting. So here is my 'Whats in my bag- Winter edition' to show you all. Just before I start, you may notice, or not, that the quality of pictures throughout have hopefully improved to you and this is due to getting a new camera, the Canon 700D, as my early Christmas present and I am in love with it! Hopefully this will now mean that the quality of my blog posts will improve. Now... lets dig in. Bag- L. Credi (bought as a gift) The first, and most important thing in my bag is of course, my iPhone. I got this recently as an upgrade of the white and silver 5 and I am in love with the gold detailing which compliments the white and goes well with the majority of my jewellery (judge me less). The next essential in my bag are my gloves. Now that winter is upon us, fluffy gloves are life savers. Therefore I have them in my bag at all times. I'm so obsessed with having earphones on me that I have 3 pairs of these earphones in all my bags including my school bag, this bag and one pair extra. Call me organised or obsessed... You need these bad boys for those journeys where you want to block the real world out, cant be bothered to speak to anyone or if you just want to listen to music to lift your mood or match your mood with your favourite tunes. I carry my purse 99% of the time so it is defo going to be found in my handbag. I am in loveee with this purse, it's so pretty. Tan and black are my fav colours for fashion and accessories, they are such classic staple colours. A brush and lipstick are mandatory for any girl to have on them at all times. Well in my opinion it is. I'm not a big brusher-of-hair unless it's straight or needs to be put up but it's still handy to have. These lipsticks are my favourite for winter (nude and berry) from MUA. EOS lipbalms are life and my moisture saviour especially for dry lips in winter. That is all. I got this one... If you can spot it, in Urban Outfitters. The final three finds in my handbag are my sunglasses... In winter, yes, you never know, ok. A black shopping bag cause in Northern Ireland you get charged for a bag in a shop. A joke right. Finally paracetamol because you never know when you need pain relief so it's always good to be prepared. Oh and the pen and sweets just because I want them in there. Thats my 'Whats In My Bag | Winter Edition' for you. Hope you enjoyed it as I enjoyed taking the pictures for it. Hopefully this is the start of better quality blog posts from me.
Thanks for reading. Tori x x I've been thinking and as this is a 'beauty, fashion and lifestyle' blog I feel I haven't really covered the lifestyle part yet... I've done the product review, outfit of the week but when it comes to lifestyle, I ain't done much. So for this blog post, I thought I would give you an update on my life and what's been going on recently because let's be honest... I haven't posted in a while (apologies) and I feel that I should redeem myself through sharing with you what's been happening. Okay, where do I begin... so Halloween was fab! Had such a great week with dressing up and seeing friends I haven't seen in agesss and most of all, having a break from school. That was a well needed break. But of course, it flew in and back to school it was, in what felt like 3 days. On a brighter note, I have booked a holiday with 7 of my girl friends to go to Kavos in Summer 2015 and im a tad excited, so that's what's keeping me going through school. Talking about school, it's been nothing but deadlines, essays, deadlines and essays as well as trying to juggle a social life, a boyfriend and family. It's a hard life. Nah I'm joking. But it has been so busy I have had barely time to sit down and think and I know an excuse is bad but when I put up a blog post I want it to be good, something I've put time and effort into and make it of good quality rather than something half-hearted so instead I haven't posted at all and soz for that. I'm sure you haven't missed me too much. On a lighter note I have had so much exciting stuff happening recently. November flew in, I went to see my boyfriend in liverpool for 4 days and it was fab. I love liverpool... more than him. Nah, jk. Or am I. Anyway, shopping was fab but having to fit everything into hand luggage is a no but spending 90% of money on food was a yes. Before I knew it November was over and December hit me like a smack in the face, like seriously, where is time going?! December also means one thing. CHRISTMAS and boy am I excited for that. I also have my Upper Sixth, last formal in December and our schools traditional Hockey Concert which is the chance for Upper Sixth to pretty much put on a show with slagging, dancing, singing and pretty much doing whatever we want infront of the whole school and teachers. That should be interesting. I've just realised how long this blog post is so apologises for that. if you are still reading I appreciate it and thanks. you made it my friend.
Hopefully you'll see more posts from me soon as I have a few in mind and feel free to share anything you would like to see, I love ideas and comments from you, just need to get my butt in gear. Much love Tori x x |
